Banana Peel is your dawg. Tell him to come, pet him, play with him, but thou shalt not teach him to roll over as he already knows this trick, and many more besides.
For example, can you kick yourself in the head? No, didn't think so. Let alone kick yourself in the head while skipping rope. Or "running" a mile with both legs stuck behind your head. Let's face it, you need Banan Appeal, that's all there is to it.
Here's some of what you can expect at your party. Picture this: A 6 foot banana in a sombrero with red, white, and green Converse high-tops comes in juggling three bananas. One falls. He picks it up, opens it, breaks off a piece, tosses it 10 feet up and catches it in his mouth. Afterwards he meets and hugs the children, who don't quite know what to make of him yet. So then he jumps on a banana-colored pogo stick, holds it with knees so that his hands are free and continues to juggle the bananas. Still no respect. "Are you a clown," they ask. "No, I'm an elephant," and BP proceeds to catch half a dozen shelled peanuts in his mouth. Blank stares. So he proceeds to "peel" off the banana layer, to reveal a cool cat in a colorful Hawaiian shirt. Now he's ready to par-tay! He mixes and mingles, but he's a bit of a dweebish wallflower, so he goes back to his shtick...
Now he's on a unicycle, hopping around like it's a pogo stick. Now he's walking on his hands with legs like a pretzel. Now he's spinning 15 hula hoops around his waist...Then he gets the kids into the act, and they have so much fun playing with this guy that they don't know how they ever lived without him. You know what I'm talking about. So then BP figures it's about time to unveil the inner clown. He "peels" off another layer, and now he's Wilt the Stilt Chamberlain with lucky #13 on his jersey, and a red, white, and blue top hat to top it off. And so it goes, and it's a party to end all parties -- until next year, of course, when you invite Banana Peel back. Until then...
